Terrace with a View
A family purchased a home we built a decade earlier, and over many years we personalized it for them with multiple projects.
To take fuller advantage of the expansive views they had us enhance the patio and add a hot tub and fire pit. They also wanted an outdoor shower that would allow them to see the views while showering. To do that we turned their existing hot tub into a suspended shower enclosure hung from the deck above. The patio can be accessed from the upper deck, or from the downstairs entertainment room, which we also upgraded with a bar, built-ins, wine cooler, and a custom-made shuffleboard table. In other projects we reconfigured the kitchen/dining area and mud room to their desires. The family finds the changes suit their lifestyle much better. Next up, they are contemplating energy enhancements, including solar, and in the distant future downsizing elsewhere with our help.
