Blake Cote

Blake grew up in South Burlington and attended Lehigh University, where he earned a degree in finance. After college, he worked as a business manager in the mutual fund industry.

Blake returned to Vermont in 2013 to scratch an itch to work with his hands. After stints with energy-efficient builders in Hinesburg and in Morrisville, he was hired by Sisler Builders in 2020. He spent three years on Sisler jobsites working as a carpenter and site supervisor before combining his love of building and skill with numbers in the role of estimator and project facilitator.

Blake lives with his wife and their two young sons in Waterbury Center, in a 1,500 square foot house that they built together in 2017, with the help of Blake’s father-in-law, a cabinet maker. In his spare time Blake enjoys skiing and growing as much food as he can in his large garden.
